Wakely is an alarm app that helps users set alarms and complete short tasks before dismissing them. We care about your privacy and design Wakely to work with as little data as possible.

Quick Summary

Information We Collect or Process

Wakely’s core features run on your device. Your alarm settings may include alarm times, repeat days, selected alarm sound, selected tasks, task difficulty, wake-up check preference, volume preference, and the sentence you set for the typing task.

This information is stored locally on your device. Wakely does not currently send this information to its own servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

Wakely does not currently collect user accounts, location data, contact lists, photo library data, microphone recordings, advertising identifiers, third-party analytics data, or behavioral tracking data.

Wakely does not use your alarm routine to create advertising profiles, track you across services, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Notifications and Alarm Permissions

Wakely may request notification, alarm, and live activity permissions so that alarm and wake-up check features can work. These permissions are used to ring alarms on time, manage the alarm task flow, continue the alarm flow when needed, and send a wake-up check reminder when enabled.

You can manage these permissions in your device settings. Disabling certain permissions may affect the Wakely alarm experience.

Face ID

The Face ID task works through your device’s built-in authentication system. Wakely does not collect, store, or send your face image, biometric data, depth data, or camera recordings to a server. The authentication result is used only to determine whether the task has been completed.

Face ID permission and biometric authentication settings are managed by your device’s system settings.

Motion Data

Tasks such as Shake and Maze may use device motion sensors. This data is processed on your device during the task. Wakely does not store motion data, use it for profiling, or send it to a server.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Wakely Pro purchases and subscriptions are completed through the Apple App Store. Payment, billing, cancellation, and refund processes are managed by Apple. Wakely does not see, collect, or store your payment card information.

Apple-provided purchase information may be used to verify purchase status and provide access to Pro features.

Support Contact

If you email us, your email address and message content may be processed so we can respond to your request, understand the issue, and provide support. This information is not used for purposes other than support.

Support correspondence may be processed by email infrastructure providers. You may contact us to request deletion of relevant support correspondence.

Third-Party Services

Wakely does not currently use third-party advertising, analytics, behavior tracking, or crash reporting services. App Store purchases, system alarm features, and support emails may be handled by Apple and relevant system providers.

If advertising, analytics, or crash reporting services are added in the future, this policy will be updated and appropriate notice will be provided.

Children’s Privacy

Wakely is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Data Retention and Deletion

Alarm and app preferences are stored on your device. If you delete the app, this local data may be removed from your device. App Store purchase records are managed by Apple. If you contacted us by email, you may ask us to delete the relevant support correspondence.

Security

Wakely aims to reduce privacy risks by processing as little data as possible. However, no digital system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page. For significant changes, we may provide notice through appropriate means.
