What is Wakely?

Wakely is a mission alarm clock for iPhone, made for heavy sleepers. The alarm keeps ringing until you finish a short mission, like solving a maze or doing quick math. By then, you’re awake.

Does Wakely have a snooze button?

No. There’s no snooze button, so “5 more minutes” isn’t an option. The alarm stops only when the mission is done.

Will the alarm ring in Silent Mode or Focus?

Yes. Wakely uses Apple’s system alarms (AlarmKit), so Silent Mode and Focus don’t silence it. You can set the alarm volume inside Wakely.

Do I need to keep the app open overnight? Does it drain my battery?

No. You can close Wakely. iOS rings the alarm even when the app isn’t running, and nothing runs in the background all night.

What happens if I close the app in the middle of a mission?

The alarm comes back. If you leave Wakely before the mission is done, it rings again after a few seconds.

What if I finish the mission and fall back asleep?

Turn on Wake-Up Check. A few minutes after you stop the alarm, Wakely checks on you again. If you don’t confirm you’re awake, the alarm rings again.

Which missions are there?

Maze, Math, Catch, Shake, Memory, Typing, Face ID, Make a Face and Set the Clock, plus a Random option that picks a surprise mission each morning.

Can I choose the alarm sound?

Yes. Wakely has many alarm sounds, from gentle to very loud.

My alarm didn’t ring. What should I check?

First, check that Wakely has both Alarms and Notifications permission in Settings › Wakely.

If you locked Wakely with Face ID or hid it, iOS may silently turn off its alarms. Touch and hold Wakely on the Home Screen and remove the lock.

Does Wakely work without internet?

Yes. Alarms and missions run on your phone, so you don’t need a connection to wake up.

What do I need to use Wakely?

An iPhone with iOS 26.1 or later.

Does Wakely have widgets?

Yes. You can add Wakely widgets to your Home Screen and Lock Screen.

Do I need an account?

No. You can start using Wakely right away, without signing up.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple account: Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
